All kinds of day's are created in early ages of Archie's, Hallmark greeting cards. Those days were pretty popular for giving your near and dear once a greeting card. They needed business and we wanted to express our emotions, thus they give it to us. Then the era of digital e-greetings arrived and they card sellers were almost wiped off. That's how all these Happy Mother's , Father's, Sister's, etc, days were created.
I see the mall is still empty and no customer walks in even today when Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in a massive way in Pune. This itself Mall marketers should realize that we Indians aren't weak minded. We have been celebrating without this western influence Mall's has tried. We love western outfit's, but not the complete mentality.
Lately, while I was taking a walk at Amanora premises and passed by the mall, I saw this hoarding saying " HAPPY DAYS ARE BACK". I was like what the F. I really felt irritated and agitated to see the kind of marketing the Mall has done. What do they mean to say, that our happiness is based on shopping, going for movie in mall, or some fancy musical bar. What does it mean? That if Mall's don't exist our happiness is lost. I really don't get their point of marketing. Shown below is the hoarding which is published all around this mall.
I am happy and take pride to say that Punities has proven that by the actions & thus I am setting at the Pune logo of Amanora mall and mentioning this with a big smile. We are happy anyways and we know to be happy in any circumstances.
Lord Ganesha teaches us the same and we all seek his blessing for the strength to face the obstacles head on.
Never let happiness to rely on external factor, let the spirit inside you make happiness flourish.
